The following are policies, procedures & forms that the Architectural Committee
has put in place to facilitate a smooth and consistent process for changes that affect the appearance of homes and property
within our community. The neighbors within our community are always improving the
appearance of their properties and we have all done an excellent job maintaining our properties. The appearance of our properties has a direct bearing on property values.
These policies and procedures are put in place to facilitate the paperwork
that is required by our Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions. These policies
are subject to change. Please see meeting notes for dates of modifications
ACC Guidelines
“The Aberdeen Creek ACC guidelines are amended effective July 19, 2007 to only allow modifications that are identical to a modification previously approved by the ACC. All other modifications are specifically prohibited.”
House Re-Painting
A new Color Book of approved color combinations for the repainting of homes is now available (1/24/2008). Owners are reminded that repainting of homes requires ACC approval, and the color combinations used must conform to those in the approved Color Book. Inland Homes originally used Duron brand paint - this brand was taken over by Sherwin-Williams and the Color Book has been updated to use current Sherwin-Williams paints. The Board has received excellent service from the Branch Operations Manager at our local Sherwin-Williams Paint Store - his name is Doug Wandell and he is the Manager at the Sherwin-Williams Company store at 7221 US Highway 301, Riverview Florida
